Michelle Eccles graduated in 2002 from the John Lyons’ training program and is a John Lyons Certified Trainer. Michelle is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania; she has trained hundreds of horses, dealt with lots of different breeds and has helped many people through various training programs.

Any horse can be trained regardless of age, gender, past experiences or breed type. It's knowing how to ask for specific responses and knowing how to tell your horse "YES!"

If you interact with horses in any way- you are a trainer. Keeping an open mind and keeping yourself safe is so important. Having a calm horse at the end of the lesson is having a horse that positively learned what you were teaching.

Michelle also believes that teaching kids to teach horses is very important. Emphasis on kids learning how to train horses is one of Michelle’s passions. Kids and horses just naturally belong together.
